The USA mighty ducks came out victorious after they beat Iceland for the gold medal, Iceland beat them badly earlier in the tournament and they were the favourties going into the final game. Beating Iceland was a huge win because at the beginning they were just trying to find players for a team and then once they had enough players they had to find a way to make a winning team with the players he had. Also now since the beat Iceland the following years USA went in a the "top-dog" because they beat the best team for the past couple years. They were victorious because of all the hard work and team work they put into becoming the team they are now, everything they gave to up try to become a better hockey team worked because they won gold and became the best team in hockey.
